EIGHT months old!

I can't believe it has already been 8 months! Where has the time gone? Taylor weighs 22 pounds and is 30 inches long. She is growing like crazy and is usually (when her ears aren't bothering her) a happy, silly baby!

She is crawling/scooting all over the place and really starting to get into things that were not made for her. I've got to get busy and baby proof this house pretty quick! She is trying to pull up on things but hasn't quite gotten the hang of it yet. She can stand for a short amount of time without anyone holding her for support.

She loves to look in the mirror and talk to herself. She gets tickled when you make silly sounds and will laugh and laugh and laugh! She cracks me up when she is playing in the mirror because she gets this confused look on her face when she can "get" the person looking back at her. It's so cute ;).

She's doing really good at her new daycare and her sitter Mrs. Jannie is a real sweetheart. She's eating all sorts of food including "real" foods like mashed potatoes, mashed bananas, and mac & cheese. She still enjoys being in the water and being outside. She really doesn't seem to be afraid of much, she is adventurous already! We invited our friends over on Sunday and put Leah and Taylor in the pool together. They had so much fun!

She really likes to play with her books, look at them, and eat them of course! I was so excited yesterday when I found bath books at the Dollar Tree! Now she has books for bath time too!

I love this little girl more than words can describe. I'm so blessed to be her Mommy! I look forward to watching her grow over the next couple of months. Time is going to start really flying by when school starts and our schedules get busier. I'll be planning her first birthday before I know it!
