We had plans of staying Friday-Friday but things had to change a little when Taylor got sick. Winston, Toni, and Kymbra drove in Friday night and had to leave Sunday night. Winston had to get back to work on Monday morning and Kymbra started two-a-days Monday. Me, Taylor, Mom, Kaitlyn, Kylar, Chandler, and Kain stayed until Wednesday. While Winston was with us, he and the boys stayed busy hiking, exploring, and being adventurous. While they were hiking on Saturday, us girls loaded up and took a scenic tour of Ruidoso. We stopped and walked near the river and took advantage of the photo opts!
On Sunday we all went on a hike. Well, not all of us... Nana and Taylor stayed at the cabin for some quiet time. We saw all types of animals including deer, mule deer, skunks, wild turkeys, and fox. It was so nice to be in the great outdoors and get some much needed exercise! We all got a couple of scratches and battle wounds from our adventures that day but it was well worth it!
On Monday we went and watched Despicable Me and then walked mid-town for some window shopping.
On Tuesday Kaitlyn stayed at the cabin with Taylor and we took the boys and Kylar to the water park in town. It has a huge slide that the boys enjoyed riding and they had a blast jumping off of the diving board too!
