Christmas Fun!

Winston and I love to drive around and look at Christmas lights. We knew that Taylor was probably still a little young to grasp the excitement of it all but we wanted to share the experience with her. She was crashed out in the back seat before we could even get out to Ransom Canyon! She has become so attached to her piglet. She takes him everywhere we go. She has to have it when she lays down and she has to have it when she leaves her crib. Taylor only gets a bottle at night time now since we are weaning her off of it. Look closely but you can see that she has piglet in one hand and the bottle in the other. She's out!
This sleepy little girl tried to make her new inch worm go but she's just not big enough yet. She sure looks cute trying though!
Taylor loves to spend time with her Nana. Below is a picture of Nana, Taylor, and her new cousin, Mason. It's amazing what a difference 10 months makes when they are this age! Taylor loves Mason! She tries to hug him and kiss him, it's so cute!

Little Ms. Claus wasn't too happy about wearing this little outfit. I can't blame her though, it was really hot!
I absolutely LOVE this picture! Taylor loves her trike and although she is still too small for it, she wouldn't let that stop her from trying. She is so adventurous and curious!

This is Taylor just before she got her shots at her 12 month well check-up. I won't share what the after looked like :(.Taylor is such a lucky little girl to have a daddy like Winston. He loves her so much and loves to share new experiences with her. The pictures below warm my heart! And yes, Winston does have shorts on in the middle of December... it's been a really warm Winter around here!

Happy First Birthday Taylor!!!

Saturday, December 18 was our little angel's first birthday! Taylor has brought so much joy into our lives! It's hard to believe that she is a year old already! There are so many things that I have learned in her first year of life. Some of them are pretty interesting... I need to post a blog outlining some of the life lessons I've learned over the past year! For her birthday we invited over all of our family to join us in the celebrating. We had mashed potatoes and mac & cheese (2 of Taylor's favorite things) and I made cupcakes and a cake shaped as a number 1! She woke up in such a good mood and enjoyed a breakfast of blueberry waffles, another one of her favorites! She loves to push the button on the giraffe below and dance and dance. She is so much fun!

Taylor was beginning to get a little fussy by the time it was cupcake time. She skipped her afternoon nap and was tired. She was so funny when I put the cupcake on her tray. She picked it up and smashed it in her face! Her little fingers are even poked inside of the cupcake!

By the time she finished her cupcake she had icing in her hair and her ears and her nose! We wanted to pose for a few pictures with the messy birthday girl but she was DONE!!! I don't think she understood why everyone was standing around looking at her, and smiling, and clapping :).

It has been such a long time since we've had all of our family together. I can't remember the last time that we were all together, actually. Winston and I felt so honored that everyone took a little time out of their busy lives to spend the day with our baby! Taylor is really pretty special!

Fall Fun!!

It's been a while since I've had a chance to update the blog so I'm starting in October and posting lots of pictures. Enjoy! We took Taylor to the Pumpkin Trail before Halloween. She liked looking at the pumpkins but did not want to touch one at all!
